This week’s designer spotlight is taking a walk to the men’s section of fashion and design.
Eric Lebon is a menswear designer from France. Lebon has been around for about 5 seasons, and continues to improve on his designs.
Personally, designing menswear appears to be a challenge, because the designer only has a select amount of pieces to recreate – pants, shirt, jacket, shoes. The trick becomes how to update the shapes, styles, and textures of the pieces.
Lebon is known for developing his street-wear silhouettes while using materials that are not normally used in the street-wear genre. In addition, his pieces, as shown above, can be effortlessly translated off the runway. An act many men struggle with.
