CELEB Style: Best Dressed at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards

Morning fab friends!!

Well, you know every blog is going to have their wrap-up and coverage of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, so here ya go. The fab girls were so pleased with the clothing selections of the nominees and attendants this year. Everyone looked classy, chic, and elegant. There were a couple missteps (SJP, not a good look), but overall I give everyone an B+. So let’s get it started!

Zoe Saldana won our hearts with this chic Givenchy creation. I called it the “Purple People Eater” – lol. But really it was a wonderful dress. And her make-up looked fab!

Jennifer Lopez rocked my world in this strapless white dress. I love the giant swoosh detail of the bottom, accentuating her wonderful curves. Good look, Jen.

My prayers for Gabby were answered last night! Marchesa designed an awesome dress for the nominated actress. The waist defining detail and cap sleeves brought attention to her cute face. She looked radiant!

I don’t know why Nicole Ritchie was at the award ceremony, but she sure looked nice. Fab Girl Sabrina almost fell off the couch when she saw Ms. Nicole’s slinky backless number. The brown hair is really a good deal for her, it makes her look more mature.

Some bloggers said that Miley Cyrus looked aged in her dress, but I think she looked good. Her hair and make-up were on point, very age-appropriate. The girl is almost 18, let her grow up.

Elizabeth Banks was a radiant wonder in her silver ruffled dress. What caught my attention was the delicate diamond head band and diamond earrings. Very classic!

‘The Blind Side’ actor, Quinton Aaron, was very dapper on the red carpet.

Anika Noni Rose (Princess and the Frog) never disappoints on the red-carpet. She followed the Oscar trend by wearing a sparkle bodice on top confection cream dress, fit for a princess.

Cute Carey Mulligan looked awesome too. Her pixie haircut and minimal make-up were a good look against her diamond chandelier earrings and jewel encrusted black dress. Lovely!

Fan Favorite, Demi Moore, sparkled on stage. Usually, I don’t really like a dress that is so close to your normal skin tone, but Demi pulled it off. The ruffle details were a good look too.

Meryl Streep is always classy and classic. This modified wrap gown was sexy and age appropriate. I love the deep v-neck.

Maggie Gyllenhall brought a dash of color on the red carpet. It was a risk, but a great choice in the end. When you get past all the princess gowns, Maggie’s dress and dark hair distinguish her from the pack.

Rachel McAdam’s dress was a good look for me too. Her hair, no sot much. But you can’t get everything right all the time.

Vera Fermiga (Up in the Air) choose a ruby-red ruffle dress. I liked it but some didn’t.

Lastly, free-spirit, Zoe Kravitz, came with her dad to the ceremony. The front of the dress was not so good, but this bow on the back gave me life. She looks good.

So tell me, what were your faves. Hit me up in the comments section.
