The event listed above is near + dear to my heart. I mentor teen girls with a group called My Sister’s Keeper and we are having a flood reief donation drive on Saturday, May 8, from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the FIHI Building 340-A West Trinity Lane. Items needed for donation are listed below. Monetary donations will be accepted as well:
Personal care items include (and are limited to): diapers, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, bar soap and body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and unscented body lotion.
Clothing (must be clean and pre-packaged): socks, t-shirts (men, women, and children sizes), underwear (men, women, children sizes), and ‘onesies’ for babies. We will not be able to take any other clothing than the items listed above.

About the Organization: My Sister Keeper is a mentoring and youth engagement program for young ladies, ages 13-18. Bi-annually; My Sister’s Keeper participates in community service events to help the participants learn the importance of giving back and serving their communities.
