I know this is late, but I had to post all the pictures from the Emerald City Fashion Show featuring the Charles Lord. This was the 2nd Annual fundraising event for All The King’s Men mentoring program. All The Kings Men’s goal is to encourage leadership through exposure, and to build relationships between young boys and adult men that lead to the youth growing into a caring responsible adult man (source).
Each year the program spotlights a young designer for a fashion show. This year the designer was Charles Brown, local Nashville designer. He featured fashion from his Charles Lord and Charles Lord Couture collection . The collection was entitled, “Come To My Garden” and featured the music of Minnie Ripperton. The designs pulled themes from 60’s and 70’s and Africana inspirations.

The event was held at the Scarritt Bennett chapel. Sponsors included Doll House Models, The Art Institute of Nashville, Soles 4 Souls, Social Butterfly PR and Events, and The Cupcake Collection.
Below are some of the models wearing the beautiful designs. More than 20 looks walked the historic halls. (click to enlarge)
There was also a silent auction table to further raise funds for All The King’s Men. Items from Opryland, Home Depot, The Tennessee Titans, Tennessee State University, Nashville Clothing Company, and Radisson Hotel.
