Hey, did you know you can be charitable and fashionable at the same time. Well you have a chance to practice this week at the 2nd annual Fashionology Charity Fashion Show on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Fashionology work to bring funds and supplies to Nashville’s public schools. Last year, guests bought a load of school supplies to the event in order to donate to the PENCIL foundation. The Fashionology Charity Fashion show works to promote local designers, make-up artists (word is our fab friend Ms. Trecie is doing the make-up), models, and businesses! The feature designer for this year’s show is Amanda Valentine, who also doubles as a wardrobe stylist too.
The second annual Fashionology Charity Fashion show happens this Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Cannery Ballroom. VIP Reception starts at 6:30pm and the runway show starts at 8pm. Click the link above for ticket info. Tickets can also be purchased at PhatKaps in Antioch, TN.
Not only being an official partner of the PENCIL foundation, one of the only fashion initiatives that brings focus and funds to the Metropolitan Nashville Public School Systems, Fashionology is an official flood relief supporter. Fashionology is asking guests to bring non-perishable items that will be donated to the Hand On Nashville and school supplies.
From the press release: The show was developed to highlight the talents of local designers as well as raise money and school supplies for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) through the PENCIL Foundation and its LP Pencil Box Program. Fashionology is the only fashion show that partners with PENCIL. Trista Davis, founder of S.E.V.E.N Promotions and creative director behind Fashionology will also present the company’s Seven Ways Scholarship to a deserving high school student. The group will also be supporting the S.E.V.E.N. Pencil Partner, Fall Hamilton Elementary.
