Fashionology 2010 was a great show and a great success (PICS & VID)

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Fashionology: The Art of Fashion produced by S.E.V.E.N. Promotions.

The fashion show is an annual event that helps raise money for the Pencil Foundation of Nashville and the Metro Nashville Public School system. This year, the show was also accepting donations for Hands On Nashville’s flood relief efforts.

This year’s theme, The Art of Fashion, allowed the designers to expand and explore their design creations. Feathers, tulle, sequins, and flowers, were some of the materials used to make these wonderful designs.

The show was held at the rustic but urban Cannery Ballroom. Guests were greeted with mini cupcakes from Gigi’s Cupcakes to top off this chic affair.

The show started promptly at 8pm, with host Rodney Dunigan, from News Channel 5, introducing the designs. The pictures below show you some of the fab designs that walked the runway. Take a look: Designer, Damon Harding, poses with one of his models. Damon designed a children’s line that was too cute, yet very chic, for words. His models, Nashville’s public school students, posed and sashayed down the runway like supermodels in training.

Two models pose before the show. The model on the left is wearing a design by Alveanie Scruggs. Alveanie’s line was high in color and sex-appeal.

Here are two models in designs by Sara Marie Jenkins (l) and Amanda Valentine (r). As you can see each designer used their aesthetic to enhance the model. Most item’s were RTW.
