Nashville Fashion Week: A quick review/recap

Hello Fab Friends!

I know you’ve been looking for me. Well, Nashville Fashion Week has been a huge success and I’ve been running around town viewing the shows, parties, panels, and general fabulousness that goes with having a fashion week in your town. Check back next week for my official Nashville Fashion Week event recap. But for now here’s a couple of highlights:

Day 1 – Opening Night at the Pinnacle Building
Having a fashion show on the 22nd floor in industrial space? Mod and breath-taking!

Day 2 – The Arcade, at 35 degrees, equals, ‘Too Cool for School
Everyone expected Betsey Johnson to wow the crowd, but T. Rains (pictured above) stole the show.

Day 3 – Crystal Fountain Church: A fashion show, at a church? For real? Yes!
This may have been the most successful, with a line wrapped around the corner of the venue. The guests eagerly waited for Christian Siriano. But before he came, plenty of local talent impressed the crowd. Olia Zavozina pictured above

 Day 4 – War Memorial Plaza/Auditorium – Tres Chic!
Just when I thought the venues couldn’t get more amazing, we visit the War Memorial Plaza. I had so many favorites at this show, it may take two posts for a recap.
Like I said, stay tuned next week for day by day coverage. The last night for Nashville Fashion Week is tonight back at the Pinnacle Building, 7:30pm.
SATURDAY: Make sure to go to NashFashDash at Terrazo (10a-2p) for shopping specials from local retailers. Then head over to Green Hills mall for the Fashion Week Celebration. Green Hills mall is the offcial sponsor for Fashion week. There will be shopping specials, runway shows, and give-aways.
