THE TREND: Denim on Denim for Fall

As I’ve said before, the best way to embrace fall in the south is to rock summer style in fall colors. That’s why the denim-on-denim trend works so well right now. You can layer for those brisk mornings, while prepping to look casually fine at Happy Hour. Below, I spotlight three outfits to inspire you to rock DENIM on Denim! Believe, it’s all the rage! Let’s get started:

Denim on Denim – Saturday Funday

The first look is already my fave and I made the looks! Anyway, a simple way to try the denim on denim trend is to start with a casual look. This lightweight denim dress, a carry-over from summer, combined with the ESSENTIAL denim jacket, is a great look to wear on the weekend. Add some cute trainers with a cross-body bag and you’re ready to run errands all weekend.

Denim on Denim – Girls Night Out

Ok, now we have a play on the traditional Canadian Tuxedo aka the Denim on Denim trend. Cute boyfriend jeans, denim button-down, but add a dash of spice with the very ON TREND velvet pumps! See, because it’s still warm outside, there’s no need to pull out the boots yet. But you can wear this velvet sandal and feel just as fly, look season ready, and be on trend.

Denim on Denim – Date Night

I had to figure out a way to do Denim on Denim for date night. I think this is it! I know we talking about denim, but also peep how VELVET is all the rage this season too! Basically, we trying to look opulently comfortable! Another TREND is MULES! Yes, they are everywhere this season. But back to the denim. This look is sexy, form fitting, and weather ready. Denim on Denim doesn’t always have to be about jeans and a shirt. See!?!
