Word on the streets says that the exclusive lux brands are getting ready to carry their designs in plus size portions! How fab, indeed. Sources from ny.racked.com voice that the only store to carry the extended brand sizes (some up to ‘standard’ size 20) will be Saks Fifth Avenue in NYC. The store will offer the fall/winter pieces coming very soon. (source)

This is a great advancement for fashion especially because several designers, such as Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld, have been noted for have been noted for their dislike of curvy models (source). Seems like the fashion world is seeing the real power of the curvy woman, the dollars! Hopefully this  will extend beyond NYC and curvy fashionistas will be able to purchase the designs from the websites too.
