You know I’m a TSU Alumni, but I can’t deny the historical awesomeness of a great HBCU. That’s why I am so happy that Fab Glance Nashville has been asked to be apart of the Young Alumni Association’s events for Fisk University’s homecoming week, November 10-14, 2010.
This year the Young Alumni Association will host their First Annual Steps of Success 5k Run/Walk to benefit the 50/50 Protege Program of the YAA and the Teal Ribbon Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Ovarian Cancer will be our beneficiary cause for this race as one of our young alumni, Kawana Williams (class of 2006), is a ovarian cancer survivor. Fisk Homecoming begins on November 10 and ends November 14. Below, is a schedule of events with a special emphasis on the Young Alumni Association events. Make sure to come out. You know HBCU’s have the best fashion! The Fab Crew will be on deck snapping pictures and reporting on the great events.
