MY CITY: Paris 1900 at the Frist Art Museum

Paris 1900: City of Entertainment at the Frist Art Museum is one of the most interesting exhibits that I thought I’ve never like! Seriously, an exhibit about old school Paris seemed to be kinda boring. But, from the layout of the exhibit to the individual pieces, I was immediately engaged in the story of a city that grew as quickly as Nashville is growing right now!

Did you know the Frist used to be Nashville’s main post office. This well-loved location was refurbished to house traveling art exhibits. It’s one of a very few museums of its kind. MY CITY: Visit the Chaos and Awe Exhibit at Frist Museum

It’s safe to say that the Frist Museum is one of my favorite places in Nashville. So, when the team invited to get a preview of the new Chaos and Awe Exhibit I was more than hype to take a visit!

Chaos and Awe: Painting for the 21st Century

Located in the Ingram Gallery, downstairs, the Chaos and Awe Exhibit is open to the public from now until September 16th, 2018. From the museum’s website, the Exhibit is described as,

“… a sweeping survey of contemporary art from around the world, celebrates paint’s capacity to weave together images of physical reality, memories, emotions, and the virtual world”

Y’all, you gonna feel all the emotions and take all the selfies in front of these amazing and thought provoking selections.

It’s June! My favorite month of the year! Why? It’s my birthday month! This month I’m exploring the art of asking for help. This is not about begging, this is about strategic moves to improve your life outcomes. It’s scary, but worth it. Continue reading “Hello June: The Art of Asking for Help”
