MY STYLE: Nashville Fashion Week, Day 1

Nashville Fashion Week 2016 is well on the way. The event is an amazing opportunity to see awesome fashion from the area and around the nation. Last night’s show opened at Studio 615 creative space in East Nashville.

Of course, I had to selected the perfect look for the night and I decided on this wonderful dress. This peplum maxi dress from Kiyonna Clothing was provided by Strut Couture boutique. Strut Couture is a new online boutique that operates in Nashville. The boutique sells plus & straight sized clothes for the sexy & sassy career woman. My necklace is from icing and clutch from Francesca’s.

I thought I was over the maxi-dress trend, but the delicate peplum details were something that made me select this look. I mean, c’mon, those peplums are so Blanche Devereaux! Also, because I’m a toddler in disguise, I never thought I could get through the the whole night wearing ALL WHITE! But, I did – lol!

And can we talk about this hair! I wanted it to be as BIG as possible. I wanted to feel like a glam African angel, and yup, I did. Shout out to MAYVENN hair for these bundles, this is some GOOD HAIR!
Lastly, this clutch is one of my favorite given to me for my birthday. I wear it all the time and you will see it again. Y’all know I like to keep it simple – this was just a pop of color I need.

So, we are on to Day 2 of Nashville Fashion Week. Tickets are still available for the week.
