MY STYLE: The best of my Summer Style 2016

Fall starts September 22 but Pumpkin Spice Lattes are already in the building. So, I thought I’d round up my favorite looks from the summer 2016. This summer I vowed to push my limits, try new trends, and be true to my taste. I was very successful and you guys LOVED IT! Thanks for ALL the comments, likes. and Tumblr shares. My goal, always, is to inspire you to try new looks. Below, I share my fave looks – click the links for shopping details.

My absolute favorite look from the summer style series is this hip-hop influenced look was right up my ally. Sometimes the most simple pieces create the most fab looks. Also, rocking shirts from Target is still the wave. Want the shopping details, click here.

Of course I had to include my swimsuit look from the Nashville Curves summer series. I was so happy to find this two-piece from Forever 21. It fit like dream, was affordable, and looked super cute. I can’t wait to find another reason to do a swimsuit shoot – oh yeah, next summer!

My next favorite look from this summer was this amazing jumpsuit that I LIVED in for most of July. Like I said in my post, Shape Shifter, I wanted to hate this outfit but I loved it! It was a crazy departure from my usual style, but it worked.

I had to add my favorite, never giving it away, gonna wear it every chance I get, pink lace dress. Plus, I just loved this photo series. I found this random blue wall in East Nashville which made the whole look pop! Click here for details on this look. Yes, color-blocking is still thing.

So, I can say I had a lot of fun this summer and I loved my looks. Hmm . . . how can I top this for fall 2016? You, shall see. I got some fun collabs coming up. What was your favorite trend to rock this summer? Let me know in the comments section.
