On this week’s vlog, I take you to the World Natural Hair Show! The World Natural Hair Show was started in 1997 by Taliah Waajid, a stylist and natural hair business owner. Waajid opened her hair salon in ATL when black women didn’t have many salons who knew how to care for black hair. She started the World Natural Hair Show as a way to gather vendors, retailers, and hair care companies in one place so customers could be engaged and informed.

The World Hair Show hosts cosmotology classes, natural hair workshops, and health & wellness demonstrations, beauty panels, and plenty of shopping. Below, I give you a snippet of the event and some commentary. Make sure to follow me on YouTube for a new video every week!
