On Monday, June 1, 2009, Oscar De La Renta debuted his Resort 2010 line in NYC. De La Renta presented “Clothes women fall in love with.” while giving the public a rather partriotic viewing of navy blue, vermilion, and khaki colored garments with embellishments such as large ruffle style roses, alligator belts and accessories, shiny reflective mirrors, and merging of various textures.

I love this collection, although it reminds me of Chanel 2010 Collection little bit (the berets and Nautical theme) the line offers women a great deal of variety, which is great for a resort collection. FYI: A resort collection in fashion is a Ready-to-Wear collection of clothes designers usually shown during the early spring/summer months.
