CELEB STYLE ROUND-UP: Chic and Simple

This week’s Celeb Style Round-up focuses on the celebs wearing simple ensembles that have fab chic appeal. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to cuase a big fuss. Take a look at the simply fab celebs, below:
Fantasia was spotted on the set of her new video, “I’m Doin’ Me”. I’m loving EVERYTHING about this look. I scoured the Internet looking for the designer of this dress, but couldn’t figure who made this. Now, the little denim vest, is not my cup-o-tea, but it’s a small price to pay for the fab-ness of this outfit.

DJ KISS, named One of NYC’s Most Fashionable People by US Weekly, wore this simple sheath dress by French Connection to the Ferragamo event in NYC. I’m saying, this is a great look, specially when going to an evening event straight from work. Plus this dress is very transitional. Cute!

Nia Long shined at her 40th birthday celebration. All black is the way to go when you’re the star of the nigh. Her simple corset top and a 3-tier ruffle skirt look great together. Now, I would have changed the belt, but that’s about it. Nia long is basically flawless, so I can give her a pass on the belt.

Michelle Trachtenberg, from Gossip Girl and Harriet the Spy (I know, right!) looked super fab at Elle’s 17th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute. Nothing says chic like a strapless black cocktail dress. Simple jewelry and straight hair are simple, but oh so elegant. Good look, Michelle.

Early this week, Gucci published their new ad campaign featuring Jennifer Lopez and her twins Max and Emme. Gucci will launch their new kids line next year. In addition, the new Gucci campaign will make a donation to UNICEF and Lopez’s Maribel Foundation, which helps underprivileged women and children, on behalf of the singer (source).
And here’s this week’s EYE CANDY: Usher, roaming the streets, with a beard. I like it. Oh yeah, he is rocking this all denim look, which I like very much too. Tell me what ya think.
Have a good weekend!!
