Eric Roberson brought his Music Fan First Tour to Nashville. He entertained guests at Dinner and a Show on Saturday (April 1). This new entertainment concept was presented by Lovenoise, 92Q, and Gridiron9. Guests were served fresh fare by Chef Jason while enjoying spoken word and music.
Nominated for 2 Grammy awards, Roberson is known for his awesome stage presence, superb voice, and humorous antics. He’s toured the country many times over adding new fans along way. Roberson and his band played for more than 2 hours, then stayed behind to sign autographs and greet guests.
This was my second Eric Roberson concert and I was thoroughly entertained. Like listening to your favorite song repeatedly, attending an Eric Roberson concert is welcome comfort. Roberson sung songs from his eight projects. He even did his famous version of neo-soul ‘Mad-Libs’ where he has audience members give him words, then he and the band perform a song on the spot.
Afterward, I caught up with Eric to chat about fashion, family, and music. Take a look at the video below, for our full interview. The second video catches Eric performing one of my favorite songs, ‘Pretty Girl’ from his critically acclaimed album, . . . Left. Make sure to purchase Eric’s new album, Mr. Nice Guy, dropping summer 2011.
