If you aren’t up on pop culture, then you may not know that the 90’s band No Doubt is poised for a come back. The band, itself, is uber-amazeballs, and has been my favorite band since they emerged on the scene.
If you don’t know No Doubt, then I know you know their GORGEOUS front girl Gwen Stefani. By 2004, she’d launched out on her solo tip and won several awards for her albums. Oh yeah, she also amped up her style quota by becoming a Hollywood glamor girl who was ‘too cool for school’ and didn’t follow the rules.
“I’ve always been a girl who loves to dress up,” says Gwen. “I already put my makeup on twice today: I put it on to take my kid to school, and then I went home, washed my face, and put it on again to have lunch with you.” She even wears it at home because “I like to make my husband like me more,” she says, laughing, “and he likes it when I’m wearing makeup.” (Harpar’s Bazaar, Sept 2012)
At 42, she’s a mother of two boys, married to a rock star (Gaven Rossdale), and style maven for so many fashion lovers. This month, Harper’s Bazaar, choose to spotlight Gwen on the cover.
