MODEL BEHAVIOR: Vanity Fair 2014 Hollywood Cover

I’d have to admit, Hollywood pumped out some thought provoking, amazing, and star-studded movies this year. In addition, these movies had lots of diversity – women, women of color, people of color, and even young actors. As always, Vanity Fair published their 2014 Hollywood Cover; it’s like the Who’s Who of movies for the year.

Most years, Vanity Fair, gets scrutinized for their lack of black actors on the cover. Photographed by Annie Leibovitz, this year the magazine redeemed itself by putting SIX back actors on the cover, with two black men gracing the front flap! Happy Black History month indeed!

For the 20th annual Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, the magazine celebrates a year of spectacular film with a group of distinguished actors. The cover, a three-panel foldout by Vanity Fair contributing photographer Annie Leibovitz, features Oscar nominees Julia Roberts (August: Osage County), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), and Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), as well as Idris Elba (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), George Clooney (Gravity), Michael B. Jordan (Fruitvale Station), Naomie Harris (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom), Brie Larson (Short Term 12), Chadwick Boseman (42), Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), and Léa Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Color).

Have you seen the movies listed above? Which was you favorite for 2013? And how much do we LOVE Lupita Nyong’o!?

Below is a close-up of each panel. Gosh, this shoot is flawless!
