Last week, I was invited to speak at the monthly #FashionForBreakfast networking event. Fashion For Breakfast was created by L. Nicole Creative Group as a way to connect those interested in the various aspects of fashion as it pertains to the Middle Tennessee area. The event is open to students, bloggers, designers, and everyone who may even think about stepping into the fashion arena.

This month’s event focused on blogging and branding. I had the pleasure of speaking with Contrecia Tharpe, author and brand strategist. She talked about the importance of branding and setting goals. I talked about this blogging game – social media, SEO, website development, and networking with other bloggers.

Overall it was a WONDERFUL experience. Meeting new and upcoming fashion bloggers encouraged and inspired me to keep up the good work. There’s space in the blogging world for everyone, you just gotta be ready to work!
