As a northern girl, it pains me to say that I have way more hot weather clothes than cool weather clothes. But I do live on Tennessee – what are ya gonna do? 

On Saturday, my brother and I were running errands. Most times I defer to my uniform of fancy sneakers, a t-shirt, and leggings. But I thought l, “it’s time to step it up. You can’t wait for an event to come around just to wear your ‘good’ clothes.” So I decided to wear one of my favorite bodycon dresses purchased from Asos.com. I purchased this dress last year, so I’m sorry to say that it’s not longer available. But the look was so fly I had to share. 

This dress has a wonderful graphic design that gives this optical illusion effect. I love this dress! Plus it hits the knee, but because I’m 6 feet tall – the length is just right. 

Added to this are my new FAVORITE sandals from Torrid – so simple but flat and comfy. And, oh yeah, check out these cool buildings! I had to take a shot in the area because I loved the architectural lines.
