OUT & ABOUT: The Nashville Symphony Fashion Show 2015

A couple weeks ago I was asked to attend the Nashville Symphony fashion show. When I say I was surprised, I tell no lies. I’ve been trying to get my hands on a invite to this annual fashion show for years. You know I had get my Fab Glance readers the inside scoop on how it goes down.

The show begins with models posed in Brunello Cucinelli Fall 2015 designs

The Symphony Fashion show was presented by FirstBank and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra League. The show benefits the symphony’s community education programs. These programs teach music to youth in the Nashville area as well as allowing the community to enjoy music through family days and discount tickets. Basically, anything to get people to enjoy our gloroius symphony.

This year’s show featured looks from Italian designer Brunello Cicinelli. The fall/winter designs showcased cozy, comfortable and chic looks great for the cool climate. It’s winter clothes, but so luxe you just want to die. Cashmere stoles, amazing sweater dreses, and comfortable jumpsuits – all in uber trendy colors like stone, grey, and winter white. Usually a grand fashion presentation, this year’s show was simplicity chic with understated elegance.

Wearing a Donna Ricco cocktail dress

So, I found out I was going to the show a WEEK before the date. I didn’t have any time to purchase a new dress so I had to hit up the closet. I almost forgot about the Donna Ricco dress that I’ve had for almost six years. The blue color was a great pop for a wonderful spring day. I paired the look with fuschia shoes from Torrid and a floral clutch from Franchesca’s.

Alicia and I – we are missing one of our fellow Blogger Girls

It was a pleasure to attend this event with one of my Blogger Girls, Alicia of Nashville Fashion Events. I love networking with Nashville’s fashionable folks while sipping champagne and tasty appetizers. I must have eaten 45 cheese puffs! All and all, it was a great event and I can’t wait to attend next year.

Oh yeah . . . .Sorry for my lateness, but when you attend back to back events, the queue gets backed up. I promise to do better and post more often. Y’all forgive me? Thanks! Follow me on instagram for up to the minute posts, but when I’m giving you the good info, hit up the blog.
