On Saturday, August 8, Dollar General will host it’s very first DAY OF BEAUTY! This free community event, hosted by R&B singer, Chante Moore, will help introduce Dollar General’s expanded multi-cultural beauty line and new magazine, Beautycents.

The event will feature several well-known beauty brands (L’oreal, Maybelline, Creme of Nature, and Bonner Brothers). In addition there will be several well-known natural hair & beauty bloggers including: Naptural Nicole, Rachel O Beauty, and Klassy Kinks. Oh yeah, your girl, ME, will be on tap as a blogger ambassador representing Nashville’s beauty bloggers. I love talking about natural hair care on my other blog, Natural in Nashville, so I’m super happy that Dollar General will be expanding their beauty line. Everyone needs access to affordable beauty products.
