I’m so excited to teach my new class, TRUEStyle! As you know, I’ve been teaching personal style classes for the last three years at Nashville Community Education. I love teaching a NCE but there were many people who couldn’t afford my class. I thought, why not teach the class at my church, for free. I’m using my talent AND volunteering at my church. It’s a win-win!

What I love about this class is that I developed it around scriptures that reflect what God thinks about beauty. It was great to add a biblical element to the topic of personal style & shopping. Despite last night’s rain and crazy Nashville traffic, I hosted the first session. We did introductions, a fun icebreaker, and discussed individual style via my TrueStyle questionnaire.
I could tell the class enjoyed themselves. The next five weeks are going to be great! We will discuss: Shopping on a budget, Dressing Your Shape, Developing a Shopping Strategy, and much more.
