I swear, every year people impress me with their amazing Halloween costumes. Every year I say I’m going to do a banging costume and . . . that never happens. BUT, that doesn’t mean I can give you some FAB outfit inspiration for Halloween. This year, I decided to get inspired by scary movie villains. Plot Twist, I never watch scary movies BUT I love costume design. Below, I picked three looks inspired by Halloween’s scariest villains. Add the makeup and take these looks to the next level! Let’s get started:

Of course I had to start with the Iconic, Freddy Krueger! Growing up, Nightmare on Elm Street was the scariest movie you could watch . . . with the lights on. LOL! Anytime you see that iconic striped shirt, you know what it’s all about. I took Freddy’s iconic stripes to inspire you to step up your Halloween look. It’s sexy and a bit scary at the same time.

The next look is another super scary villain from the 80’s . . . Hellraiser! Dude, as soon as I saw that guy with the pins in his head, I was DONE! I think I made it through about 30 minutes of the movie and I was DONE! However, doesn’t mean I can’t get inspired by Hellraiser‘s patent leather trench look and hardware inspire tortured face.

Last but not least, I had to give a nod to our boy Chucky! Listen, Child’s Play was a movie I could watch because it was HILARIOUSLY scary! I mean, a doll, possessed? Laughable. But he’s iconic. I wanted to go full denim, but went with these black overalls, but kept his iconic stripped shirt, sneakers, and knife. This look is cute . . . but you’ll be a killer! LOL! Also, can I just have these sneakers?! Right!
Ok, so you know I had to do a regular-degular-schmegular look because this is definitely what I’ll be wearing this Wednesday. Hey, the Candy Lady has to look cute too. Can I have this Louis Vuitton fanny pack tho? I swear I’ll put candy in their for the kids!
So, which look inspires you the most? Let me know in the comments section!
