Sneakers, Blooms, and Birthday Vibes

On Saturday, June 14th, more than 50 people gathered at Slow Drip Coffee for the latest edition of Kicks and Coffee: Give Them Their Flowers — and it was a vibe from start to finish!

This month’s event was presented by MoJo Marketing and Brewing With Lakeithea. I’m always excited to collaborate with partners to make my sneaker events more amazing and reach targeted audiences! Thank you to these businesses owners for supporting my vision.

We sipped on delicious drinks, created custom bouquets at the DIY Flower Bar, and of course, showed off our freshest sneakers. It was a true celebration of community, creativity, and culture.

For me, this one was extra special — it was my birthday! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate than being surrounded by good people, good coffee, and good energy. I wanted to host an event that gave something to my fave people: my followers and my longtime homies. That’s why having this event, on my birthday, felt really special.

A huge thank you to Liz at Slow Drip Coffee for hosting us in such a beautiful space and keeping the drinks flowing. Sadly, this is the last event being hosted at Slow Drip Coffee. The shop will be closing. But I know, our girl Liz has another amazing concept in her plans. You know, I’ll keep you posted.
