Here’s some pics from the American Music Awards last night:
The Pussycat Dolls actually looked GOOD, and not like they were going to dance on pole. The girls wore Christian Siriano dresses (Project Runway winner) on the red carpet and they looked great. Of course, the Jonas Brothers looked handsome in their well-tailored suits. I’m happy to see they have got a better barber on staff, b/c their hair was starting to kill me.
Mariah looked predictable (tight dress, flat-ish hair), but you can’t front on this girl’s career. She won an achievement award for breaking almost every musical record set by a pop artist -ever. Rihanna looked great, except for the earrings, they kind of looked grandma-ish, although her skin is flawless and she looked well rested.
Queen Latifah looked amazing – from red-carpet to her performance with Alicia Keys, she is showing that you can be fabulous at any size. Alicia Keys didn’t do too bad herself. I wasn’t too crazy about her red carpet choice, but you can tell she’s been in the gym hittin’ that cardio. Lastly Leona Lewis looked pretty in her blush pink Jenny Packham dress. Actually, Leona was too pretty to be at the AMAs, however, she is trying to stay relevant seeing as though her US popularity is draining.
