As this blog finds it’s new footing, I’ve decided to share more of what makes me Fab Glance! Although I’m a plus size girl, I have to admit that I tend to eat rather healthy (if only I could kick my cookie addiction! Lol). So, today I’ve decided to share my smoothies!
If you follow me in Instagram (@fabglance1), you know I’ve been juicing for about two years. Almost every weekday morning I drink a smoothie. However, as the weather warms up I tend to move toward juicing. Let’s face it, juicing can aid in weight loss but it’s also a great way to lose weight and work on you digestive track (tmi, I know).
As today is the first day of Spring I decided to bring the juicer back! I’ll make sure to share my juice/smoothie recipes with you every week! I make every recipe myself, according to the tastes I like. So, what’s in my cups today? Click below:
- handful of kale
- handful of spinach
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Cap full of olive oil
- 1 cup water
Blend well in a regular blender. Makes 2 servings.
The Other Orange Juice: 10 carrots, 3 tomatoes, 1 lemon – juiced in whatever juicer you prefer. My juicer is ULTRA old, but it does the trick.
Green Juice: 1 cucumber, 3 Granny Smith apples, 1 grapefruit. It’s very tart!
