Just yesterday I was telling you not to spend these cold winter days in black leggings, and make sure to up the style factor. And today, I’m showcasing one of my fave winter looks – that includes BLACK LEGGINGS! LOL! But y’all already know my affinity for Torrid’s Premium Leggings, so you know I’m not escape the winter without rocking a pair. 

Let’s get into my Winter Grunge look for this week. 

When Toni (my photographer) and I were shooting this look she was the one who exclaimed, “OOH, this is so 90’s, so grunge!” I had to agree. The dark lip, black rose beanie (that I’m OBSESSED with), and dark loose curls all shoot back to my days as a grumpy sullen teen. Yes, I was a teen, in the 90’s.

And can we talk about this sweater? SURE! I spotted this at Torrid while looking for something else. It’s a loose weave sweater with a high/lo hem. It’s loose enough to put a shirt underneath and it hangs off the shoulder, but thin enough to transition into spring. It’s definitely a fave.

Although you can’t really tell, these boots are grey and they are amazing. Super comfy, super warm, and super tall. I’m 6ft and these cover my knees. Plus, they are wide-calf. They fit kinda loose on me, but if you have bigger legs, you can DEFINITELY rock these.

This simple yet toasty look is great for shopping. Even though I’m from Massachusetts, I hate wearing coats. So I’m all about the layers. Stay WARM my friends – it’s gets better. Spring soon comes!
