Hola guys! This week’s look is just one of my absolute favorites. If you know me, you should know I am a total hip-hop head and Wu-Tang Clan is one of my favorite groups. So, when I came up with this look, I was ultra happy. This look encompasses  my love of fashion and my love of music. Let’s get into it:

Shirt – Target, Skirt – Torrid, Sandals – Torrid

Summers in Nashville involve patios and parties. Don’t let the country music and cowboy boots fool fool you, Nashville has a thriving hip-hop scene. From monthly DJ led dance parties with the folks at Boom Bap to kicking at a concert presented by LoveNoise – if you love hip-hop then you won’t miss out. Oh yeah, Nashville is getting ALL the hip-hop concerts: Drake & Future, Puff Daddy & The Family, and Beyonce with DJ Khaled! Of course I had to share a look I’d rock to any of these occasions.

 

There’s nothing easier than a simple black skirt paired with ANY type of t-shirt. I turned this one into a crop top by tying a knot in the back (real simple). Add to this, a simple pair of heels, and you are ready to roll out. Listen, Nashville gets REALLY hot, no one needs to wear too many clothes. Give me three pieces and I’m good.

So, keep it simple this summer. Have fun with you style and express your yourself by keeping cool. Make sure to get out the house and explore your city. You never know what adventures can happen if you seek out a little bit of fun.
