MY STYLE: Spring trends, winter style

This week has been one of the coldest in recorded history. It’s hard to fathom that spring is around the corner. If you are like me, when I shop, i want to wear my clothes immediately. I hate waiting. But, we all know it makes no sense to look like a whole fool wearing out-of season fashions. Unless, you get creative!

I’m a winter senorita, under my coat, but perfect for brunch! Luckily, Nashville’s cold snaps don’t last too long. However, a planned look can be destroyed if you don’t check the weather. This off-the-shoulder sweater from Jessica London is the perfect transition piece for winter-to-spring. It’s really warm, yet light-weight. This sweater is also long. I happened to tuck it for this skirted look.

Of course, I’m wearing my new favorite white boots that are a perfect transition into spring! the silhouette is the real treat on these boots. The pointed toe is the treat and the gift that helps your leg keep extending! Get you some! If it’s still cold in your city, add a pair of opaque black tights to this look to keep your legs nice and warm while being fashionable.

So, start adding some spring style to your winter rotation.
