MY STYLE: Dressing well in-between seasons

Shout out to this Tennessee weather! One day it’s warm next day it’s artic, and in-between it’s raining! LOL! Dressing well for the in-between season is always a conundrum. So, I teamed up with Jessica London to show you some ideas for dressing well in-between seasons.

This transition from winter to spring is brutal! Do I wear boots and a sundress? A sweater and leggings? Will it be too warm in your office because the heat is still on, or too cold, because they prematurely turned the AC on! Thank God for LAYERS!

Start adding more color to your wardrobe with light yet warm layers. This duster-style sweater is the perfect layer for those season-less days. It’s super soft, machine washable, and available in a ton of colors. For this look, I added wide-leg jeans, heels, and a knit top. I can easily see myself rocking this sweater into the new season.

Another way to get through this in-between season is to depend on DENIM! When the warm days come, take out those denim items and start creating looks. This short denim skirt is my new favorite piece for this season-less season. Adding these cute booties keeps your feet warm, while rocking this cute satchel bag gives a nod to care-free warm days soon to come.

ALL BLACK WITH A POP \ Jessica London Style

As you can see, I’m ready to have my legs out, but I still want to be warm. Shout out to this all black look with a POP of color. That’s right, the WHITE BOOTS are back! The last look I created, was quite TRENDY (check it out). This time I want to show you how you can rock the white boots in a more chill fashion. I added my FAVE black body-con, and layered the look with a black version of the sweater mentioned above. Y’all know I love all black – but I wanted a bit more contrast!

So, don’t get upset with in-between seasons. Get creative by dropping in cute spring pieces with your winter staples. Don’t worry, Spring will be here before we know it.
