MY STYLE: Pre-Fall Transition Looks with Jessica London

As fast as it came, it’s going to be gone! Yes, girl, summer is saying farewell and my favorite season is around the corner – FALL! Shout out to the team at Jessica London for sending me some pre-fall looks to help me transition into the new season.

Living in TN, it won’t really be pumpkin-spice-latte cold until late October/early November. So, the rule of thumb is rocking summer cuts in FALL colors. When you live in the south, it’s really hard to fully enjoy the Fall because it’s cold in the morning and blazing hot by noon. Great way to look wild and out of season! So, check out the following fall transition looks to aid you in your plus-size southern style.

I’d been searching LONG AND HARD for an oversized denim jacket in plus-size proportions! This long denim jacket was perfect on my six-foot frame. For reference, I sized UP to get that true oversized feel. Seriously, this is going to be my favorite coat for the fall season. I can see myself pairing this jacket with leggings, body-con dresses, and jeans too!

Of course, you have to have a fall transition look for the office. I picked up another version of my FAVORITE Boatneck Tunic – this time in this animal print geometric design. You already know animal print is IN for the fall, but this geometric design gives a flare on the trend.

Oh yeah, I was TOTALLY surprised by these jeans – that come in TALL! Like, they are actually longer than I could imagine and fit like a dream. These thighs don’t lie and they fit like a glove. Get yourself a pair.

Ok, back to a look that transitions from work to happy hour (and my new staff loves happy hour!). This oversized sheer button down tunic. Y’all this is a look! Tell your uncle I’m ready to go on a date. I’m all for looks that allow me to be comfy, cute, and ready to move from happy hour to date night!

Last, but certainly not least is this super FIRE look that can be worn whenever you feel like it, because it’s that BOMB! This whole look is trend-heavy in the BEST way. This fitted leopard print skirt (has pockets) fits like a glove but cute enough to wear to the office. Shout out to this mock-neck sleeveless sweater that’s great for transitions because you won’t get too hot. Then, to top it off is this leather motorcycle jacket is a classic staple that every girl needs. Expect to see it often!

These looks have me ready for the leaves to fall and the days to get short. But, hey, I’m still here for the warm weather days – thanks TN! As always, tag me on Instagram if you purchase any of these pieces. You know I love twinning with you!
