This is the last day of the Nashville Curves Swimsuit campaign. For the fourth year in a row, I’ve presented amazing women with outstanding influence in the Community. For 2019, I’ve attempted to expand our reach in Nashville. We now have an Instagram page, a Facebook group, and a hashtag that is gaining traction. Thank you for liking our photos and reading about the Class of 2019: Alexis, Ashanti, Kina, and Tiffany. Of course the questions come: How can I be down and WHAT are you doing next?
Last year, I hosted the first meet-up with promises to do more meet-ups in the future. This year I decided to hold off on doing another meet-up in order to build a team to help me cultivate the Nashville Curves Community for 2020. Instead of doing one-off events, I want to present a series of events centered around the needs plus-size women in our city.

I can admit, previously, I didn’t want to be the face of the plus-size influence in the city. Also, I’m not the ONLY one creating events for plus-size women. However, I know my influence can appeal to a wider audience, while allowing followers to engage with brands and experiences that fit our needs. I want to create what I needed in the Nashville blogging community.
So, please join the community group and follow our page on IG. In 2020, I plan to host quarterly meet-ups, more fashion inspired shoots using plus-size brands, and bringing the real conversations about being plus-size to the forefront. Oh yeah, y’all are getting t-shirts! LOL! We gotta fund this initiative some way!
Once again, thank you for enjoying this year’s swimsuit campaign! Thank you for Silas Miller stepping in to photograph this year’s campaign. His fresh approach to the Nashville curves world created these amazing shots. Definitely give him a holler to shoot your next campaign!
