FASHION FRIDAY: Fall Trends to Rock during COVID

It’s fall. But like we also in Covid. So like, how can we look cute, but in the house (and the occasional outing), and save money. Cuz, like really, why we spending all this money to go about the third of the places we used to go.

Ok, so let’s take a look at the trends and see which we can rock that makes the most sense for our current predicament.

Animal Prints for the Win

Dress from Eloquii Elements

If anything makes us feel good during this wretched time it’s being EXTRA bold. So, like dude, go balls to the wall while mixing animal print. Of course, no animals were harmed in the making of this look. However, for that once a month outing – turn heads in a look decked in animal print.

A Bit of Casual Glam

Once again, we are in a pandemic and we should really be in the house staying healthy. But have you glanced at you closet, reveling in the clothes you used wear to places you used to go. BUT, also thanking God that you don’t have to go places, acting fake-ish and being a tad uncomfortable.

Enter the CASUAL GLAM trend. When you make it out the house, wear you most glam looks with a casual piece. Mix a sequin skirt with a pair of sneakers. Hey, who Gonna judge you boo? Plus, all the sparkly things make people smile and you get your money’s worth.

Black Leggings Never Fail

Top and Leggings from Torrid

Listen, what more can we say about Black Leggings! They more consistent than your grandma’s Mac & cheese recipe! They just never let us down! I know I’m not the only one who appreciates her leggings a bit more these days. They are here for my zoom meetings and for my grocery trips.

Fall colors in Summer Cuts

Dress from Target

As much as we like to think of fall as super chilly time where you sit by a bonfire and snuggle with your PSL. In the south, we kinda go from SUPER HOT to SUPER COLD and fall temps last for about a week. Puffy Sleeves and the pumpkin spice color are super trendy this fall.

A dress like the one above can be worn by itself or layered with a cardigan and tights for the cooler days. Throw on an ankle boot and you are ready to go.

So, what Fall Trends are you rocking this year? Let me know in the comment section.
