When you become a blogger-influencer it’s easy to get burned out! We are creating content DAILY, checking analytics, fielding emails, and representing yourself as TALENT! Yup, after awhile you’ll want to take a break – but you don’t want followers to lose interest.
In this week’s #Bloggerlife post, we’ll discuss recycling content. As online influencers it’s easy to get stressed about creating new and amazing content. All the ‘gurus’ tell you to have the best photos, the most amazing and engaging captions, and a blogpost with the perfect keywords for SEO optimization. While those are true, sometimes you’ll post and not get the views your content deserves. That’s when it’s time to recycle!

It happens to every blogger who’s been putting in that good work. You photos are great, you’ve been posting on your site consistently, and your social media following is rising organically. Then, you get an email from the brand that you’ve been stalking! Yes! If you remember from my ‘Blogging While Broke‘ post, most bloggers barely make enough to pay for daily cup of coffee. So, when a brand reaches out to you, ANY BRAND, you get hype!
But then, they send you that . . . questionnaire. You start answering the question and they ask about your NUMBERS:
- How many Instagram followers do you have?
- How many Facebook followers do you have?
- How many unique visits does your website receive?

Welcome back! It’s Detox Review time!
First up, thank you for following me on this journey! I’ve gained so many new readers and fans in the blog, my instagram, and my Facebook page. Also, I appreciate when you email and send me messages about starting your own detoxes! If I encourage just ONE person to be a bit healthier, then I’ve done my job. After all, it was one person who inspired me to start again too.
How’s the detox going?

I’ve always called myself a fashion blogger, but I’ve often been asked why don’t I concentrate my efforts on being a PLUS- SIZE BLOGGER. And, that always gets me to thinking about the importance or non-importance of niche blogging.
